PSƧT is an intersectional feminist platform standing for more inclusion and representation in the music scene. We create learning spaces (workshops & discussions), and physical tools (a database and a community sound systems) to support MaGe* artists, unite communities, share skills and knowledge and connect together.
We invite anyone willing to collaborate with us to respect our values below:
The platform carries clear political values. Our members and the people we work with have varying degrees of radicality, but we expect them to respect our anti-fascist, anticolonial, anti-police, anti-terf, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, anti-classist, anti-sexist, pro-queer, anti-Islamophobic, anti-incest, anti-paedocriminality, anti-ableist, and anti-fatphobic and generally anti-patriarchal values.
We consider each of these discriminations as interconnected. The collective itself reflects this, as its members' diverse identities and struggles come together. This is what makes us strong and allows us to approach struggles in an intersectional way.
Founded in 2018, the platform is carried by a collective whose members have evolved and will keep evolving. The collective’s core members are Andrea Nivière, Daya Hallé, Katia Lecomte, Lola Lourdes, Manal Benmalek, Mika Oki, Souria Cheurfi, Yasmina Tayoub and formerly Shaïne Mahaux, Soumaya Abouda and Zoé Merchez.
PSƧT is an open and moving community – everyone who performs or contributes to any Psst projects is basically a part of it. Since the very beginning, PSƧT has always been about collaborations. Go to ARCHIVE to check out the things we’ve done so far.
This website was developed by the brilliant coding duo zooz, made of Soumaya Phéline and Aymen Hajlaoui, and designed by Alliage, Lucile Martin and formerly Julien Pik, who have been shaping our visual identity since day 1.
This website was created thanks to the support of the Cellule Égalité des Chances à la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
We also want to thank the many people and organisations we have had the chance to collaborate with through the years, such as Techniciennes and beursschouwburg for their ongoing support <3
